JOHNSON COUNTY — A Warrensburg man is accused of starting a fire inside of a mobile home he allegedly broke into in rural Johnson County.

Eric Alonzo Atkinson, 37, is charged with arson, burglary and armed criminal action for the incident that reportedly occurred on Oct. 30.

A probable cause statement says Atkinson reportedly woke the victim up after he started the fire to tell them to evacuate.

Atkinson is being held without bond at the Johnson County Jail. He made his initial court appearance Monday morning.
