Amazon is accusing Berkshire Hathaway -owned PacifiCorp of trying to "extract payments" that aren't due to it under existing power agreements.
In a complaint filed Oct. 30 with the Oregon Public Utility Commission, Amazon Data Services alleges PacifiCorp has breached statutory and contractual obligations to provide power for new facilities in Oregon.
ADS is asking regulators to order Portland-based PacifiCorp to provide the power or remove the data centers from the utility's exclusive service territory .
The data center locations aren't disclosed in the filing, but Amazon has dozens in Morrow and Umatilla counties. Many, but apparently not all, are served by the
