INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis metro police are investigating after a person was shot and critically injured on the city's northeast side Monday night.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded around 6:44 p.m. to the 6500 block of E. 42nd Street to investigate reports of a possible shooting. IMPD said officers arrived on the scene and located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was last reported to be in critical condition.
As of this article's publication, IMPD has not provided any information about a suspect or possible motivations behind the shooting. FOX59/CBS4 is working to learn more about the critical incident.
