SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Monday afternoon was very sunny and mild.
Afternoon high temperatures were able to warm into the lower 70s for most locations. Warmer afternoons are expected for the rest of the workweek and into the weekend.
High pressure is taking ahold of the weather pattern across the southeast for the next several days. This will keep the sky mainly sunny.
Afternoon highs on Tuesday will be in the low to mid 70s.
Afternoon highs in the upper 70s to even lower 80s are expected Wednesday through Sunday. Overnight lows will be in the mid 40s to lower 50s each day.
A strong cold front is forecast to sweep through the southeast on Sunday. This front will not only bring a chance for some showers, but also much colder temperatures for next week.
