RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) - A man is in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle early Tuesday morning, according to the Raleigh Police Department.
Raleigh police said officers responded to the call of a pedestrian crash near the 1600 block of Trawick Road near New Bern Avenue around 2 a.m.
According to police, officers arrived on scene and found a male pedestrian that had been struck. Police said he was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and did not face immediate charges following the crash.
Police said the crash is still under investigation.
