Massachusetts is expected to be sunny Tuesday but temperatures will only reach the 50s across most of the state.
And strong winds will make it feel even colder.
A wind advisory is in effect across Massachusetts with northwest winds gusts reaching 40-50 mph. The National Weather Service warned this could cause minor damage.
The wind is expected to continue through the afternoon.
Once the sun goes down, temperatures will continue to drop.
The lows in Western Massachusetts are expected to be around freezing. Worcester is expected to be around 37 degrees, while Boston and Hyannis will be around 40 degrees.
Wind could return Wednesday night with temperatures continuing to drop as the week goes on.
High temperatures might only reach the lower to mid-40s for most areas by Thursday. When
