A railway worker who intervened to prevent further violence during an incident on a train in Huntingdon has been praised for his courage.
Samir Zitouni, known as Sam, was honoured by LNER for his brave actions during the attack on Saturday (November 1).
Sam, 48, has been part of the LNER workforce for more than 20 years, serving as a Customer Experience Host, a position focused on helping passengers.
LNER confirmed that Sam was working aboard the 18:25 Doncaster to London King's Cross service on Saturday when passengers faced danger.
