DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Board of Regents has revealed Benjamin Houlton, Ph.D., as the first finalist in the search for Iowa State University's next president.

Houlton, currently the Ronald P. Lynch Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University, will visit the campus on Wednesday to engage with faculty, staff, students, and community members. Houlton is set to participate in a public forum from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Durham Great Hall of the Memorial Union.

The forum will be streamed live on the Board's website , providing an opportunity for those unable to attend in person to participate virtually .

Houlton is one of two candidates in the final interview round.
