WESTON, W.Va. — A 28-year-old Jane Lew man has been indicted in the May homicide of a toddler, according to the Office of Lewis County Prosecutor Christina Flanigan
Zachary Jordan Williams was indicted on charges of murder; death of a child by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in a position of trust in relation to a child by child abuse; child abuse causing serious injury; and malicious assault.
Law enforcement has alleged Williams threw a baby out of frustration, causing a mortal injury.
Williams was among several individuals indicted Monday, according to Flanigan's office, which issued an indictment list Tuesday. All those indicted are presumed innocent.
Arraignments will be held at 9 a.m. Friday (with Judge Kurt W. Hall) and 1 p.m. Friday (with Judge Jacob E. Reger) at the Lew
