MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Downtown Morgantown will transform into a hub of creativity and community spirit Friday evening as two signature arts events — the November Arts Walk and First Friday for the Arts — join forces for a festive celebration themed “Local for the Holidays.”
From 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 7, visitors can stroll High Street and surrounding areas to enjoy outdoor art vendors, live music and an array of gallery exhibitions and creative spaces. The event marks the finale of Main Street Morgantown’s 2025 Arts Walk season and the conclusion of its fall collaboration with the Arts Council of Greater Morgantown.
Ava Vavrick, manager of Marketing & Communications for Main Street Morgantown, said the event is designed to highlight both local artistry and the importance of supporting small bus
