CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - An Uber driver was arrested after he allegedly shot a person at a house in northeast Charlotte over the weekend, court documents revealed.
An affidavit revealed the shooting happened just before 3 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1 at a home on .
The affidavit alleged that the Uber driver -- 33-year-old Kyron Clarence Simmons -- was called to the house to pick up a man and another passenger. When he got to the house, an argument allegedly broke out between Simmons and the man over Simmons not wanting him to sit in the front seat. During the argument, Simmons claimed the man punched him in the face one time.
