Veterans Day is on the horizon, and, as is the case every year, many restaurants will offer veterans a free meal to say thanks.
Among the dishes being served up on Nov. 11 is a Minnesota classic. The 5-8 Club — home to one of the original Juicy Lucys — is offer veterans a free burger.
The offer, which is good on a Classic Juicy Lucy, comes with fries, carrot sticks, or coleslaw.
The 5-8 Club currently has four locations, including outposts in Champlin, Maplewood, Minneapolis, and West St. Paul. To redeem the deal, veterans just have to show proof of military service.
