An organic juice bar in Minneapolis' Uptown neighborhood is closing down this weekend, with $5 "you get what you get" smoothies on the menu to help ingredients run out.

Impulse Juice Co., which opened in 2021 in the former Truce space at the corner of 32nd and Hennepin, will close Saturday.

"My goal at the time was to make it about 5 years and this will just about bring us to that timeline," owner Brian Nanoff wrote on Facebook.

"This venture would not have been possible without the help of family, friends and phenomenal staff and customers," he continued. "I was even blessed with lovely landlords who were also paramount to the success of impulse."
