WEST UNION, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — A grease fire forced employees and customers to evacuate a popular restaurant in West Union, Illinois Tuesday afternoon, fire officials said.
The blaze broke out at the West Union Cafe shortly before 2 p.m. Fire officials said everyone was evacuated safely. Multiple fire departments responded to the blaze.
Officials on scene described the fire as a total loss.
