BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — The newest salon in Baldwin County is officially open and you'll never believe who is running it.

At first glance 'Trendsetter' might look like your typical salon; however, at the newly opened, student-run salon at Baldwin Preparatory Academy, every snip is a step toward a career for these cosmetology students.

"Anything in the cosmetology realm from nails, facials, waxing," Raegan, a senior cosmetology student, said. "We get to do hair a lot, which is my favorite, and that's what I want to get into."

Now, the salon is officially open to the public and students are getting real experience with real clients.
