It will cost the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to keep Brady Oliveira. More than it’s ever cost them before.
The star running back, without a contract for next season, held his season-ending Q&A with the media on Tuesday and every time he talked about how much he loves playing for his hometown team, there was a “but.”
One of those revolved around the kind of team he’d have around him if he re-signs with Winnipeg – he’s clearly in no mood for a rebuild – while the other involved dollars and cents.
