FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — With just a few hours left before polls close in Virginia, voters across Fairfax County have been steadily making their way to cast their ballots — some for the very first time, others after a few unexpected detours.
Outside the Fairfax County Government Center, emotions ran high as residents took part in Election Day. Some were thrilled to finally have their say, while others found themselves momentarily frustrated after showing up at the wrong polling place.
For 18-year-old Brody March, Tuesday marked a milestone.
“This is my first time voting,” he said with a smile. “It was very fun — and you should be mysterious when you vote.”
