WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -- West Springfield residents voted for their next mayor on Tuesday as Daniel O’Brien faced off against incumbent Mayor William Reichelt.

With all precincts reporting, it appears Reichelt will continue serving as the town’s mayor.

“Thank you. I’ll still be here, I’ll still keep doing what we’re doing. We want to improve our listening sessions and get out in the community more, have more community forums, hear from people. We do it all over social media, we do it all over regular media. We want to get back just doing the regular door-knocking, not in an election year, and talk about what folks want to talk about,” Reichelt said Tuesday night.
