WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - In three Wichita school board races Tuesday night, incumbents Diane Albert, Julie Hedrick, Kathy Bond and Hazel Stabler all faced challengers. Albert and Hedrick prevailed while unofficial final results show newcomers upending Bond and Stabler.
In District 5, Amy Jensen, a retired teacher, is projected to defeat Bond. District 5 includes parts of Wichita from about 31 st Street South up to 17 th Street and from Meridian west to 119 th .
In District 6, results show challenger Amy Warren projected to defeat Stabler for the right to represent parents and students living in a broad area between I-135 and I-235, including downtown Wichita and north to the City of Park City. In Park City, the community is split among students within the boundary for Wichita Public
