In-person Election Day results showed Democrat Scott Lasher ahead of Republican Joe Adkins in the race for Frederick's District 4 City Council seat, but the majority of ballots in the election had not been counted.

The initial numbers released in the city's election had Lasher leading Adkins, 361 to 268.
