ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Republican Bill Smith Jr. has won the election for Pittsford Town Supervisor on Tuesday, beating out Democrat Cathy Koshykar.
Smith has served in town and county government for more than two decades, from his early work on Pittsford’s Greenprint plan and six years as Monroe County Legislature Majority Leader, to his current role leading the town since 2013.
A longtime Pittsford resident and attorney, Smith says he’s grateful for the community’s continued trust and looks forward to building on the town’s record of fiscal stability and preservation.
