DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - David Clanaugh was elected to Duluth City Council District 4 seat on Tuesday.

Four out of nine City Council seats were up for grabs, including the 4th District, which includes Lincoln Park.

David Clanaugh has worked with multiple Duluth non-profit organizations and credits his volunteer work to his ability to connect with the public. His campaign focuses on affordable housing, infrastructure, and safe neighborhoods.

Clanaugh brought up the city’s housing crisis as a priority. It’s an important topic as Duluth is expected to face more housing challenges over the next decade.
