The National Weather Service released a high wind warning at 3:46 a.m. on Wednesday in effect until 7 a.m. for South Central Oregon Cascades and Siskiyou Mountains and Southern Oregon Cascades.
The weather service says, “South winds 35 to 50 mph with gusts up to 70 mph expected.”
“High winds may move loose debris, damage property and cause power outages. Tree damage is likely. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles,” describes the weather service. “People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.”
