At 3:46 a.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a high wind warning in effect until 7 a.m. for South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast.
The weather service comments, “South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected.”
“High winds may move loose debris, damage trees and property and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles,” adds the weather service. “People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.”
