A teenage thug admitted brutally stabbing a youth moments after being told off for taking selfies in the courtroom.
Aiden McLaughlin, 19, struck out at the then 17-year-old boy at a property in Glasgow's Maryhill on January 20 2025.
McLaughlin had been enraged after the youth had been in an argument with another person while he was asleep. He struck his victim and left him with two bleeding injuries to his arm.
McLaughlin pleaded guilty today, November 5, at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the assault to the boy's severe injury. He also admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
