EDGECOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A nearly year-long investigation into drug sales in Edgecombe County has ended in an arrest.
The Edgecombe Sheriff’s Office says deputies started investigating cocaine sales in the Mobile Home Estates area of Tarboro late last year.
During the investigation, deputies were able to identify the subject as 47-year-old Demetrius Dickens, also known as BAM.
After hours of surveillance and other investigative tactics, deputies got warrants yesterday to arrest Dickens on the following charges:
Two counts of selling and delivering cocaine
Three counts of possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine
Two counts of selling and delivering fentanyl
Two counts of possession with intent to sell/deliver fentanyl
Five counts of maintaining a dwelling to store a con
