PROVO CITY, Utah (ABC4) — Incumbent Provo City mayor, Michelle Kaufusi, has won the Provo City mayoral race, according to unofficial results.
66 out of 66 precincts report that Kaufusi, who has been the mayor of Provo since 2017, has won the election with 6,149 votes. Kaufusi's opponent, Marsha Judkins, received 5,987 votes.
Should the results hold, Kaufusi will serve for the next four years.
According to Kaufusi's campaign website, her guiding principles are keeping taxes low to maintain fiscal responsibility and manage growth, revitalize East Bay and Provo Towne Center to transform underused areas, preserve open space and refresh neighborhood parks, and invest in infrastructure.
