PROVO, Utah (ABC4) — Incumbent Provo Mayor Michelle Kaufusi has made what appears to be a concession post in the Provo mayoral race. Marsha Judkins is currently leading with 398 votes.
In the post, Kaufusi thanked the people for her time as mayor, talked about her accomplishments, and discussed what she will miss most about being mayor.
While Kaufusi did not explicitly state that she is conceding the race in the social media post, she wrote about her time as mayor in the past tense and said, "What I will miss most will not be the projects and meetings; it will be the great people I have worked with through these eight years. You will always be in my heart."
This race has been an extremely tight one. On election night, initial results showed Kaufusi in the lead with a small margin. On No
