KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A "person of interest" was arrested in Knox County in connection with a woman found dead in the Bluegrass Fish and Wildlife Area.
Earlier this week, police asked the public for help identifying the woman. According to Indiana State Police, the woman's body was found Sunday afternoon near a boat ramp on New Harmony Road near Klippel Road, in Warrick County.
Since then, police have identified the woman as 35-year-old Kristina Robinson, of Henderson, Kentucky.
State police believe Robinson was killed in Henderson before her body was taken and left at the Bluegrass Wildlife Area.
In a news release sent to WTWO/WAWV, Indiana State Police said "a person of intrest was arrested in Knox County."
