NEW ORLEANS —

The New Orleans Police Department is searching for a man accused of armed robbery.

Police are also asking for the public's help identifying suspects possibly linked to the crime. Advertisement

According to the NOPD, Ja'Cory Shamon Burton is wanted in connection with the armed robbery that happened around midnight on March 6 in the 13700 block of Chef Menteur Highway.

Police say at least two other suspects were armed with a handgun. One of the suspects may be named "Lamonne."

A warrant has been issued for Burton's arrest.

Anyone with information regarding the crime or the whereabouts of Burton is asked to call Seventh District detectives at 504-568-6070 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
