KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — A Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony are just some of the events taking place in downtown Kingsport throughout the holiday season.

"Downtown Kingsport truly comes alive during the holidays," Senior Director of the Downtown Kingsport Association Robin Clearly said in a news release. "We invite everyone to come experience the lights, the magic, and the Christmas spirit that make this season so special in our community."

The Downtown Kingsport Association released the following schedule of events for the Christmas season: • Santa's Depot, Nov. 22, 1 - 3 p.m. Gather around Centennial Park to welcome Santa aboard the CSX Santa Train • Gather around Centennial Park to welcome Santa aboard the CSX Santa Train • 'Tis the Season to Shop Small/Small Busines
