The Gadsden Police Department's Street Crimes and Narcotics Unit located 95 pounds of marijuana, according to the mayor.

Gadsden Mayor Craig Ford said officers found the marijuana after a citizen complained of a strong odor in East Gadsden.

He says the marijuana is worth more than $100,000.

Mayor Ford adds that marijuana is still illegal in Alabama, noting that "this case clearly wasn't personal use."
