STATESBORO, Ga. — Former Salisbury High star Kyla Bryant made her debut for Georgia Southern on Monday in a 98-72 win against Central Michigan.

Bryant was a standout for two seasons at NC Central before transferring. She averaged 13.1 points for NC Central as a sophomore.

The 5-foot-7 guard came off the bench in Monday’s opener, but played a lot of minutes — 27.

She made two 3-pointers in three attempts and scored eight points. She had three rebounds and one assist.
