On Wednesday at 11:20 a.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 4 p.m. for Wallowa County.
The weather service says to be ready for, “South winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 58 mph for Wallowa Valley.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Blowing dust may reduce visibility as low as one mile,” explains the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
