PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for northern parts of the Oregon Coast and the coastal range.

The National Weather Service says the severe thunderstorm warning is for southern Clatsop County and northwestern Tillamook County.

The warning was issued at 12:47 p.m. and lasts until 1:30 p.m. after the NWS detected a severe thunderstorm over Garibaldi via radar.
