COLDWATER, Kan. (KAKE) – Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach announced Wednesday that his office filed election fraud charges against the mayor of Coldwater.

In a press release from the AG’s office, Kobach said Mayor Jose Ceballos faces three counts of voting without being qualified and three counts of election perjury. The charges are non-person felonies, and Ceballos could face more than 5 years in prison.
