A group of around 40 youths are alleged to have gathered in Edinburgh which led to buses being diverted after they 'surrounded police '.
Locals claimed yobs were 'quickly dispersed' from Broomhouse Road at around 7.30pm on November 5. Police have been deployed around the city as they look to combat disorder on Bonfire Night, with a police helicopter seen circling above several neighbourhoods.
Officers were at the scene on Broomhouse Road as Lothian were forced to divert their service 21 from the area, reports the Daily Record .
A spokesperson said: "Due to anti-social behaviour buses are unable to serve part of Calder Road and Broomhouse Road and are instead diverted via Bankhead Avenue and Bankhead Drive in both directions until further notice."
