SOUTHERN IDAHO — A majority of school levies and bonds on ballots across Southern Idaho failed to gain voter approval in Tuesday’s election, with five of nine measures rejected.
Filer District sees double defeat
In Filer, voters rejected two separate measures. A school plant facilities reserve fund levy totaling $300,000 per year for 10 years failed with 60 percent of voters against it.
Filer voters also decided against a supplemental levy of $650,000 per year for two years that would have funded district salaries, extracurricular activities and supplies. This measure also failed with 60 percent opposition.
