WINTERPORT, Maine — A New York City man wanted in connection with a homicide investigation was arrested Tuesday in Winterport after U.S. Marshals said they found him riding an electric scooter.
The U.S. Marshals Service said 52-year-old Lamont Dolberry was wanted on a charge of second-degree murder out of New York. Investigators from the Maine Violent Offender Task Force reportedly learned Dolberry had fled New York and had been living in Maine for several months.
Task force members located Dolberry on an e-scooter near Cove Road on Tuesday afternoon and took him into custody without incident, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. He was taken to a local jail, where he awaits extradition to New York.
