GODERICH – The Huron OPP crime unit is investigating an alleged recent sexual assault in Goderich.
Police said they received a report Sunday, Nov. 2, of a sexual assault that allegedly took place on MacEwan Street just south of Suncoast Drive East between 12:25 p.m. and 1:35 p.m. that day.

The suspect is described as a white male about 60 years old, clean shaven and about five foot four inches tall with a medium build wearing a hat, a denim jacket and jeans. Investigators canvassed the area and obtained images of the vehicle believed to be involved in the crime. The vehicle is believed to be a 2014 to 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 black pickup truck with a four-door quad cab, running boards, mud flaps, chrome bumpers and steel rims.
