TRUSSVILLE, Ala. (TRIBUNE) — The city of Trussville has announced that Parks and Recreation Director David Vinson will retire at the end of the year, concluding more than three decades of service with the city.

Vinson has overseen the growth and maintenance of Trussville’s parks and recreational facilities, as well as the expansion of programs that promote health, wellness, and community engagement. His work has been part of the city’s continued effort to provide accessible recreational opportunities for residents.

“David’s contributions have been vital in shaping Trussville’s parks and recreation facilities,” said Mayor Ben Short. “His work has enhanced the quality of life for our residents and left a lasting impact on the community.”
