PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- The bacon and eggs were steaming, the coffee was hot and the orange juice was sweet.

This was all served buffet style at the annual FamilyCore meeting, held at The Warehouse on State in Peoria, marking the group's 125th year of service.

FamilyCore is an organization that offers counseling and family services, and the incoming president for the group said there have been many victories, but one especially.

"I think it's the fact that we've been able to help over 1500 people in the last year, and that number continues to grow each year," Todd Hasty said. "It only continues to grow because of the support of this community."
