PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Several public buildings across Peoria are expected to close for Veterans Day.

On Nov. 11, all Peoria city offices will be closed in observance of Veterans Day, city spokesperson Stacy Peterson said.

At the county level, the Peoria County Courthouse will be open, but many of the offices within will be closed, a county news release said.

The 10th Judicial Circuit Courts will not be in session and the Peoria County Probation Office will also be closed. The Peoria County Court Administration will still be open.

All offices are expected to return to normal business hours on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
