LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The Nevada Office of Traffic Safety released its statewide fatal report for October 2025, which revealed that the number of deaths on Nevada roads was nearly cut in half compared to last year.
In October, there were 21 fatal crashes in Nevada, which is down 43% from October 2024 which had 37 fatal crashes. In total, there were 22 deaths on Nevada roadways compared to 40 last October, data showed.
So far in 2025, there have been 309 deaths on Nevada roads, compared to 338 this time last year, marking an 8.58% decrease. Of those 309 deaths, 199 were in Clark County, according to the report.
So far this year, 64 pedestrians, 11 bicyclists, and 51 motorcyclists have died in Clark County, all of which are down from this time last year.
While this is a slight improvement,
