CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Darius Garland debuted for the Cavs Wednesday but it was Donovan Mitchell who dominated in a 132-121 win over Philadelphia at Rocket Arena.
Mitchell scored 36 points in the first 3 quarters, helping Cleveland build a 107-87 lead after three.
He finished with 46 on 15-of-21 shooting in 35 minutes.
Garland, who missed the first 7 games of the season coming off toe surgery, had 8 points and 4 assists in 26 minutes.
Jarrett Allen, also back from a finger injury, had 24 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks and was a +24 for Cleveland.
Evan Mobley added 23 points.
Tyrese Maxey, the NBA’s leading scorer (34 ppg), paced Philly with 27.
Quentin Grimes also had 27 for the Sixers.
The 76ers (5-3) were without center Joel Embiid, who sat out the second night of a back-to-back
