MANLIUS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- Jeremy Allen still wants justice after his German Sheppard, Kylo, unexpectedly died in the care of the Dog Gone Inn in Manlius.
"I just didn't get a chance to say goodbye," Allen said.
Allen said he dropped off a healthy Kylo at the Dog Gone Inn on Oct. 10 to take a weekend trip.
"I got a call Tuesday, at 7:30 in the morning, that Kylo was dead," he said.
Allen said he demanded answers from the owner, hoping to find out how Kylo died. He said the owner told him she came in and Kylo was dead, and that she thought Kylo passed in his sleep.
Allen picked up Kylo's remains and is still waiting for the results regarding what happened. He believes Kylo was dead for a longer period of time, due to the smell of the body.
