MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- One Memphis man says he is in limbo right now, having to make some tough budgeting decisions and fearful of losing his SNAP benefits.

This comes as the State Department of Human Services says it doesn't have a confirmed date for partial benefits.

"A word is not putting food on the table, if you're going to do it, do it, if you're not, then let us know so we can prepare for it at least," said Cedric Nesby.

"I can't budget because I got to spend my utility money on food. You know I can't let, My son is not ever going to come in this house and say I'm hungry and not going to eat," said Cedric Nesby.
