Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha faced intense backlash from RJD supporters during polling in Lakhisarai constituency, where his convoy was surrounded and attacked.
Supporters of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) hurled slippers, pelted stones, and chanted “Murdabad” slogans as they blocked Sinha’s entry into Khoriari village. Police personnel were present at the scene but struggled to contain the crowd.
Sinha, who is contesting from Lakhisarai on a BJP ticket, accused RJD of orchestrating the attack. He claimed that his polling agent was denied entry at booths 404 and 405 and alleged voter intimidation. “These are RJD goons. NDA is coming to power, and they can’t handle it,” he said.
