Emergency services rushed to a beach in North Yorkshire due to reports of teenagers being injured by fireworks.

On Wednesday (November 5) night, people across the country were building bonfires and setting off fireworks for Bonfire Night. Unfortunately, on a beach in Scarborough things reportedly went wrong as fireworks were set off in their hands.

Children have reportedly been hurt in the horrific incident on the beach, where police and paramedics were quickly called to the scene.

Emergency services were rushed to the beach following reports that at least children, thought to be teenagers, were injured by fireworks going off in their hands and faces.

It's thought that the event was unauthorised, reports YorkshireLive.
