HAUGHTON, La. -- Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott will be returning to the turf where his athletic career first started for a special night in Haughton High history.

He will receive a hometown welcome and be honored at an official field dedication ceremony at 6 p.m. Thursday at Harlan Stadium. KTBS 3 will livestream the special event on KTBS+.

Prescott sported the number 6 on his jersey as a Haughton Buccaneer.

His accomplishments on the field are many, yet the Haughton High alumnus has never forgotten his roots. Prescott has hosted youth football camps at his alma mater, donated sports equipment and uniforms, purchased school supplies and sponsored athletic events.

Before the 2025 football season kicked off, Prescott gifted more than a million dollars to the school to construct
